Today we walk you through setting up your Joomla! Website. In this demonstration, you set up a website template using the QuickStart Pack. Extract the zip package and transfer the files to your Web-FTP. Now you have the database for your Joomla installation. Go to your local or web server and find PHPMyAdmin.
Enter the name of the database, as required for your MySQL user create a database. In browser type: www.yoursitename.com, here’s your fresh installer, select your language, click Next Make sure all of your server settings are green, click Next.
Enter the MySQL database information you just created, host, username and password and database name, click Next to FTP configuration possible, as it is, if you do not want us FTP Click Next, type your site name , e-mail address and admin password, use the backend.
Important! Click on the sample data, click Next, follow the massage: completely remove the installation directory of your server, go to server and delete the installation file.
To your site name and you’re done with a demo Joomla site.
